Unterwegs mit Ende Gelände
Am 26.06.2020 fanden, im Rahmen eines Aktionswochenendes, bundesweit dezentrale Aktionen des Bündnisses Ende Gelände statt. Diese richteten sich gegen diverse Braunkohlereviere wie Garzweiler in NRW, oder den Tagebau in Jänschwalde in Brandenburg.
Mit den Aktionen soll u.a. Aufmerksamkeit auf ein Gesetz gelenkt werden, dass Anfang Juli 2020 von der Bundesregierung beschlossen werden soll. Besagtes Gesetz soll den Kohleausstieg, bis 2038 verzögern und wurde von der Kohlekomission des BMWi empfohlen.
In der Nacht auf den 26.6.2020 schleichen sich Aktivist*innen des Aktionsbündnis Ende Gelände in den Braunkohle-Tagebau in Jänschwalde. Dieser erstreckt sich auf 60,15 km² und von der Abbruchkante bis zum Bagger, der besetzt werden soll, ist es eine weite Strecke.
Der Einstieg ist erreicht und die Gruppe sucht sich ihren Weg durch ein Labyrinth von Gängen. Es wird auf die Sicherheit aller geachtet. Rucksäcke und Ausrüstung werden sich die steilen Leitern hochgereicht. Oben angekommen stellt sich Erleichterung und Freude ein und ein Plenum zur Vergewisserung das alle OK sind wird einberufen.
Viel Zeit bleibt nicht, denn die Sonne geht langsam auf. Und so wird sich gleich an die Arbeit gemacht, das grosse Transparent zu befestigen.
Um circa 7 Uhr werden die ersten Werksmitarbeiter auf die Besetzung aufmerksam.

Westbank in early 2012:
In a one-day-trip we visited the village of NABI SALEH in the Westbank and documented the reality of the residents.
Like every Friday there has been a protest against a nearby israely settlemet. Like every Friday there has been clashes between the protesters and the IDF.

Aleppo, Syria in December 2012:
The civil war has been waging for just over a year, as we entered syrian territoriy in late 2012.
Each day rebels told us that the war will be won and will be over soon. The sheer destruction and madness was unbelievable.
